What is iDeployed?

iDeployed is a managed hosting platform built specifically for JTL-Shop. We handle all the infrastructure — servers, databases, TLS certificates, updates, and monitoring — so you can focus on your shop and your business. No DevOps knowledge required.

Who is iDeployed for?

iDeployed is designed for JTL-Shop operators in the DACH region who need professional hosting without an in-house IT team. Whether you're a solo merchant, a mid-sized business, or an agency running multiple shops for clients — iDeployed is built for you.

Which JTL-Shop versions are supported?

iDeployed supports current JTL-Shop versions. The exact versions available can be confirmed during sign-up or by contacting us.

Is iDeployed an official JTL partner?

iDeployed is an independent hosting provider specialising in JTL-Shop infrastructure. We are not directly affiliated with JTL-Software GmbH, but are fully compatible with the JTL product ecosystem.


Trial & Onboarding

Is there a free trial?

Yes. After signing up, you get a fully provisioned JTL-Shop instance to test for 48 hours, completely free. No hidden terms — the trial ends automatically if you don't switch to a paid plan.

What happens after the 48 hours?

If you don't start an active subscription, your trial instance is automatically deleted. No data is retained. If you'd like to continue, you can upgrade at any point before the trial ends and your instance carries on seamlessly.

Do I need to provide a payment method for the trial?

Yes, we place a €1 pre-authorisation on your card at the start. This amount is never charged — it's only used to verify your payment method. It lapses automatically if you don't start a subscription.

How quickly will my shop be available after signing up?

Your JTL-Shop instance is provisioned fully automatically — typically within a few minutes of completing registration.


Billing & Pricing

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via our payment provider Stripe. Additional payment methods are coming soon.

How does billing work?

Billing is monthly, in advance. Once your trial ends, your subscription is automatically activated and renews each month until you cancel.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, your shop remains active until the end of the already-paid billing period. There is no minimum contract term and no cancellation fees.

Are there discounts for annual plans or multiple instances?

Contact us directly — we offer custom pricing for agencies and operators running multiple shops.


Infrastructure & Technical

Where is my data hosted?

All data is hosted exclusively in German data centres (Google Cloud). No data is transferred to third countries outside the EU.

Who handles updates and security patches?

We do. Infrastructure updates, security patches at the server and database level, and platform maintenance are all handled by iDeployed. You will be notified ahead of any planned maintenance windows.

Can I access the server directly (SSH, FTP)?

iDeployed is a fully managed platform. Direct SSH or FTP access is not provided by default, as we manage the infrastructure entirely on your behalf. If you have specific requirements, get in touch.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. You can connect your own domain to your iDeployed instance. Setup is available through the dashboard and is documented in our Custom Domains guide.

What database is used?

iDeployed uses MySQL as the database for JTL-Shop, running on dedicated database servers within your infrastructure.

How do backups work?

Regular automated backups are built into the platform. Details on backup intervals and retention periods are available in the Backups documentation or on request.


Privacy & Security

Is iDeployed GDPR-compliant?

Yes. All data is stored and processed in Germany. iDeployed is a German company (UG, Leipzig) and is fully subject to GDPR requirements. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.

Who has access to my shop data?

Only authorised iDeployed personnel may access your infrastructure, strictly for support or maintenance purposes. We do not share your data with third parties.

Is there a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?

Yes. Details on uptime guarantees are available in our SLA documentation or in the Terms of Service.

Where can I check the platform status?

Visit status.ideployed.com to see the current status of all services and historical uptime.

Do you offer onboarding support?

Yes. If you have questions about setting up your shop or migrating from an existing host, we're happy to help.

Can I migrate my existing JTL-Shop to iDeployed?

Yes. We support migration of existing JTL-Shop installations. Get in touch before booking so we can plan the process together.
