Instances

An instance on iDeployed is a fully isolated, production-ready JTL-Shop deployment. Each instance has its own web server, database, file storage, and subdomain.

What's inside an instance​

Each instance includes:

  • A JTL-Shop installation at a dedicated .ideployed.app subdomain
  • A dedicated MySQL database
  • Persistent file storage for shop assets
  • Automatic TLS certificate for the subdomain (and for any custom domain you connect)
  • Access to the JTL-Shop admin backend via the dashboard

Creating an instance​

From the dashboard, click New Instance, choose a JTL-Shop version, and iDeployed provisions everything automatically within a few minutes.

Managing instances​

From the dashboard you can:

  • View instance status and resource usage
  • Access the JTL-Shop admin backend
  • Restart the instance
  • Connect a custom domain — see Custom Domains
  • Delete the instance

Multiple instances​

You can run multiple instances under a single iDeployed account — useful for agencies managing shops for several clients, or for maintaining staging and production environments separately.
